Hi, I'm Andrew Spurling, sales manager, GFI digital. So you should expect a greater uptime of your machines. You should expect longer times in between service calls. You should expect that every technician is factory trained. Whereas other vendors have one certified factory-trained technician and they train the other employees. You want your vendor to be able to have all their technicians 100% factory trained from the manufacturer.

You should expect your vendor to have the parts on hand, and fix the issue the first time. And if you do have a greater number of service calls, your vendor should be able to replace that machine, quickly and promptly for no charge.

When vetting a vendor, you also need to vet the manufacturer as well. For example, Ricoh has the number one market share in the world and Sharp is backed by Foxconn, which put a ton of money into R&D and technology.

Also, when vetting a vendor, you need to look at objective third party organizations. For example, like Pros Elite. What they do, is they rank every vendor in the nation on service.

Lastly, you want to look at a vendor that wants a partnership versus a vendorship. You want that vendor to make your life just easier in everyday workflow. Whether it be less service calls, less headaches, less misfeeds, and overall just better experience, for the life of the lease.
