“I like Jungian philosophy and I like existentialism, so by reading about that, it helps give me purpose in what I do, and keeps me motivated,” says Linda Saturno, Executive Director of the Child Advocacy Center in Springfield. Saturno recommends Robert L. Heilbroner’s “The Worldly Philosophers.” Since Saturno’s purpose is to be a public servant, reading books which give her a reference point of her place in the world helps her to keep going and be more effective.
