Nearly 20 employers covering industries including education, government, health care and retail are expected to appear at an Oct. 18 hiring event in Branson.
The Missouri Job Center and Taney County Partnership, a Branson-based economic development organization, are collaborating on the multi-industry event, set for 2-4 p.m. at the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, 4100 Gretna Road.
Job Center spokesperson Katherine Trombetta said she didn’t know the total number of jobs that will be available for job seekers at the hiring event but expects employers will seek to fill “hundreds” of positions.
According to a Taney County Partnership newsletter, up to 20 employers can participate at the event. Trombetta said 17 companies were signed up as of this morning. Employer registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and those interested can contact the Job Center.
