“For marketers in this day and age, it’s so important to think about how you are engaging with customers and potential consumers on that mobile device,” says Erika Murray, Global Brand Manager at Google. Murray says you have to mine data to see what people are looking for in their search queries. “Think of it as the world’s largest focus group at the tip of your hands,” she says. Researching web analytics and trends will help you understand how consumers are engaging with your brand online and through mobile apps. This in turn can help you develop your marketing strategies.
