“When someone says, ‘I need this today,’ instead of saying, ‘I can’t do that today,’ I’m a big fan of saying, ‘I can give this to you tomorrow,” says Angela Frantz with Ultimate Software. Franz says by framing things in a positive way, it feels less like telling a coworker “no" and enables you to give your best self and say "yes" to more. Frantz says negotiating better boundaries allows you to set good expectations in dealing with coworkers’ requests.
