The Nixa Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has named a new slate of leaders.

A new board president, vice president, secretary and treasurer started this month, according to a news release. Board officers are elected every year, said Nixa chamber President and CEO Whitney Guison.

President Rich Callahan co-owns 14 Mill Market in Nixa. Vice President Summer Lampe is the owner of Xtreme Exteriors, Secretary Kristen Haseltine is president and CEO of Show Me Christian County and Treasurer David Liss is executive director of technology and strategic planning for Nixa Public Schools.

The board also added new members Eric Albers and Tricia Chapman, according to the release. Albers is a partner at Insight Design Architects, and Chapman is sponsorship coordinator for Nixa Public Schools.

"Their volunteerism has been a large part of what makes the chamber so successful today," said Whitney Guison, Nixa chamber president and CEO, in the release.

The Nixa chamber board has a dozen members, according to its website.

The organization last year ranked No. 3 on Springfield Business Journal's list of the area's largest chambers of commerce. The Nixa chamber reported 566 members and a 2023 operating budget of $480,000.

Guison said the chamber’s previous board officers were Tim Cobb as president, Haseltine as vice president, Lori Rook as secretary and Liss as treasurer.
