“We’re selling three things really — we’re selling quality beer, we’re selling a hip atmosphere to consume that beer within the neighborhood, and finally and maybe even most importantly, it’s our knowledgeable staff,” says Curtis Marshall, tail brewer at Tie and Timber Beer Company.
“I don’t know that it’s really critical to promoting our product. We love people wearing our merchandise, I love seeing people coming in and wearing it,” says Jennifer Leonard, Head Brewer at Tie and Timber Beer Company. Leonard says it helps get the word out about their business, but for her, it’s more about letting customers collect brewery hats and shirts from the brewery.

A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
