Eric Schroeder, acting Corporal with the Springfield Police Department says they sometimes get calls from businesses asking for safety talks on active shooter situations. While the police department doesn’t have a full active shooter program, they can show businesses how to improve their safety plan against a variety of crimes. “I think businesses should have training for anything that they feel is a threat to their company,” Schroeder says.
