Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. (Nasdaq: GFED) announced the hiring of another local Regent Bank executive.
Mike McGoldrick joined the company last month as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager, operating out of the company's Farmers Park headquarters, according to a news release.
McGoldrick was among Bear State Bank employees recruited by Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Regent Bank in 2018 to form an office in Springfield, according to past reporting. Craig Dunn, who led the local Regent office as president, joined Guaranty Bank in April as executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer.
At Regent Bank, Dunn recently was succeeded by Mick Nitsch, former regional president at The Bank of Missouri.
In the May 29 news release, Guaranty Bank also announced it hired Kris Nau as senior vice president and commercial relationship manager. With nearly 30 years of experience in the banking industry, Nau comes to Guaranty Bank from Simmons Bank.
“We are very excited that we’ve hired not just one, but two, of the most experienced bankers in the Springfield market,” Dunn said in the release. “At Guaranty Bank, we have a market-leading team of commercial bankers and the addition of Kris and Mike further broadens the depth of our commercial team with their level of experience, character and knowledge."
