App-titude - Dark Sky

Posted online

David Brazeal says the weather app that comes with your phone is fine, but if you want more detail you might consider an app called Dark Sky. “What I really love about Dark Sky is it has the ability to pinpoint when it’s going to start raining in your specific location,” says Brazeal. The app has the standard features of most weather apps plus a “time machine” feature that allows you to view past weather events. Brazeal says it can also send you notifications such as a warning that it will soon start to rain in your location. In each episode of our monthly series, App-titude, David Brazeal takes a look at a different app that makes his life easier, more convenient, or maybe just a little bit better.
