Arkansas city buys naming rights for JQH convention center

Rogers, Arkansas, purchased the naming rights for the John Q. Hammons Center in the city.

The Rogers Convention Center is its new name. The city bought the rights through an agreement with JDHQ Hotels, a subsidiary of Jonathan Eilian’s Atrium Hospitality LP. Eilian's companies purchased late Springfield hotelier Hammons' bankrupt estate in 2018.

In Rogers, construction started on the 125,000-square-foot convention center in 2005.
