When Crista Hogan, Executive Director of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, was asked to give a speech about Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and war, she saw an opportunity to talk about the misnomer of perfectionism. “Athena basically started out with everything she needed and I think as women we need to remember that,” says Hogan. “Women need to be better at doing less, we need really to know when we’re good enough.” Perfect is the enemy of good.
