British retailer faces collapse

British retailer Arcadia is facing collapse within hours, BBC News reports.

The operator of Topshop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins could enter administration today. That would put 13,000 jobs at risk.

Company officials told BBC they do not expect a last-minute rescue deal. Previous talks with lenders failed, according to the report.
