Calling Led to Creation of One-Stop Shop for Long Term Care Needs

Posted online

Senior Living Guidance founder Jacqueline Jadidian spent ten years as an administrator overseeing long term care communities that included independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing. She also provided hands on in-home care and hospice. But after much self discovery, Jacqueline decided to end her career as an administrator. “I knew I loved working with seniors, but my skills and passion were not being used wisely behind a desk.”

Jadidian left her administrative post and focused on caring for her grandmother who was suffering with advanced dementia. Jadidian dedicated a year to provide companionship and care to her grandmother, while also volunteering in the Springfield/Nixa area. She describes it as an invaluable time that taught her much about Alzheimer’s and dementia and gave her the one-on-one companionship with her grandmother that she’d always cherished.

As time passed, Jadidian needed to figure out the next step in her career path. “After praying and letting God help me see my vision, I knew I wanted to continue to work with seniors, but in a different capacity,” says Jadidian. “I knew I could be a guide for them when it came time to seek long term care solutions and external resources, relieving some of the stress for them during the transition. This led to the creation of Senior Living Guidance, LLC.”

Senior Living Guidance, LLC is a locally owned one-stop shop providing independent consulting, offering a variety of services and a personal touch to clients and professional partners alike. Senior Living Guidance provides in-depth information about local senior living communities and in-home care companies, as well as resources and education for estate planning, Medicaid/Medicare, asset preservation, VA benefits and assistance, financial advising, moving/downsizing, housekeeping, real estate brokers, hospice and home health.

Jadidian spent time touring most of Greene and Christian counties and a portion of Webster county senior living communities, as well as researching and interviewing in-home care, home health and hospice companies. A select number of communities, agencies and professionals are on Senior Living Guidance’s preferred list of services that are recommended to clients. “Senior Living Guidance will only recommend the best services for you and your loved ones. I know my grandmother would be proud.”
