CDC endorses boosters for kids 12 and older

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave its endorsement to booster shots for children ages 12 to 17.

The recommendation is specifically for the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

Officials cited rising infections in teens and young adults.
