St. Louis-based health insurance company Centene Corp. is sponsoring a Major League Soccer expansion team in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The deal means Centene's name and logo will appear on the game jerseys of the Charlotte FC.
“We are committed to transforming the health of the community by providing access to the best care for every person in the Carolinas,” said Marcela Manjarrez Hawn, Centene’s senior vice president and chief communications officer.
