WireCo WorldGroup Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of steel wire rope, synthetic rope and electromechanical cable, is expanding in the Missouri city of Sedalia.
The company plans to invest $15 million over five years at its Sedalia plant. Eighteen new jobs would be created, joining the current workforce of roughly 160.
“This investment will better enable WireCo to respond to the quickly changing U.S. market," said Scott Thompson, WireCo's chief operating officer of global steel.
