Company seeks incentives for Joplin expansion

A manufacturer is seeking incentives for an expansion to its Joplin plant.

The tax-incentive proposal was outlined at a Joplin City Council meeting last week, but the company was not named.

The company intends to buy $70 million to $80 million worth of equipment for two proposed projects.
