“A lot of the things we have were family heirlooms,” says Sean Brownfield, owner of Dapper and The Hepburn. Brownfield says curating the furniture and decor for both Dapper and The Hepburn was one of the most difficult, but also most fun aspects of building the brand for his businesses. Brownfield says meeting people and acquiring items was inspiring and helped him realize his vision. “It’s nice to be able to wander around sometimes when it’s quiet and look at things and remember and kind of get those good, warm feelings too.”
