“Working for an advertising agency, everything that we do is dictated by client deadlines,” says Vanessa Brandt, Vice President/Managing Director - Account Service at Marlin. “Oftentimes, their time is not enough, the assignment is unreasonable. So what we have to do is figure out how to get from point A to Z in the amount of time we’ve been given to do the work, and make sure that work is quality.” Brandt says you have to plan to achieve your goals. Don’t get caught up in the minutiae. Define the steps, resources, and staff you need to make it happen.
