Project description: Another CoxHealth “super clinic” is underway in Republic, near the intersection of U.S. Highway 60 and State Highway M. It will replace CoxHealth’s current clinic at 820 S. Illinois Ave. Super clinic facilities include multiple types of health care, with the Republic clinic slated to offer primary care, extended hours for walk-in patients and physical therapy, said CoxHealth spokesperson Kaitlyn McConnell. The Republic clinic is part of a recent investment of about $37 million from CoxHealth in similar clinics – one each in Nixa and Ozark that opened in the last year, and one under construction in east Springfield. Also last year, CoxHealth built a $42 million hospital in Monett, according to past reporting.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
