The oldest members of GenZ are college age, so their impact on the business world remains to be seen. “They’re very, very young, so the jury is still out on how they will fully behave,” says Kay Logsdon, Director of Applications at CultureWaves. Logsdon says GenerationZ has been raised on adaptability — they know there will always be a new version coming out. “That’s the mentality they live in, so they’re always looking for that next step,” Logsdon says. Self-described fossil Millennial Locke Hilderbrand and solid Boomer Kay Logsdon share what their trends research at CultureWaves tells us about generational differences and tips on how to bridge the gaps. Generations in the Workplace is an ongoing multi-episode series tackling the issues of generational conflict.
