Hershey to buy two pretzel makers for $1.2B

Hershey is beefing up its pretzel portfolio with two acquisitions.

The company agreed to buy Dot's Pretzels and Pretzels Inc. for an aggregate $1.2 billion.

Hershey CEO Michele Buck said snacks that are savory and "better for you" are areas where the company is undeveloped.
