Is today’s real estate market in a bubble like 2007 again?

Posted online

Today’s market is very different than the 2007 market. The challenges then were that buyers were being approved for mortgages they could not afford and therefore many went into default, causing the rise of foreclosures, short sales, etc.

The biggest challenge today is lack of inventory, not bank/loan approvals. Many sellers are apprehensive to list their property for sale out of fear they won’t be able to find something else to purchase. That’s when you really need a good REALTOR that you trust who will work tirelessly to find you the right home.

What most don’t realize is there are a lot of properties sold that never hit the market because REALTORS have other avenues to utilize for clients that the public doesn’t know about.
