Jack Henry & Associates Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY) executive Jack Prim retired from CoxHealth's boards in Monett and Springfield.
Prim served 2008-20 on the Cox Monett Hospital Community Advisory Board and 2011-20 on the CoxHealth Board of Directors in Springfield. On the Springfield board, he represented the Monett area, according to a news release issued this morning.
For the Monett hospital, Prim is credited with helping to secure fundraising dollars to build the health care system's new $42 million replacement hospital that’s currently under construction. He and his wife, Margaret, donated $1 million last year to the project, which is slated to open early next year.
“We are so close to reaching our $7 million fundraising goal to build our new hospital because of Jack and the efforts of others,” said Darren Bass, president of Cox Monett, in the release. “He is a true servant leader who has been instrumental in moving health care forward in our rural community.”
The former CEO and current board chairman of Jack Henry, Prim was awarded a plaque by CoxHealth for his board service. On the Monett board, Prim has served as president and vice president.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
