Bass Pro Shops founder and CEO Johnny Morris again ranked on Forbes' annual list of the wealthiest people in the world.

Morris, 73, placed No. 705 on the list, with an estimated net worth of $4.1 billion. That's up from $3.2 billion on the 2020 world's billionaire list, when his rank was No. 616.

In the fall, Forbes ranked Morris No. 181 on the 39th annual Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest Americans. His estimated net worth at the time also was $4.1 billion.

Morris' estimated net worth peaked at $5.7 billion in 2019, according to Forbes data.

The latest Forbes list estimates Bass Pro's annual revenue at $6.5 billion. The company in December penned a definitive agreement to buy West Jordan, Utah-based Sportsman’s Warehouse Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: SPWH) in a deal valued at roughly $785 million.

On the 2021 Forbes global billionaires list, Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos maintained his No. 1 rank for the fourth year in a row. His estimated net worth is $177 billion, followed by No. 2 Elon Musk, at $151 billion, and No. 3 Bernard Arnault and family, at $150 billion.

At No. 705, Morris is tied with other global billionaires including Piero Ferrari of the luxury vehicle company of the same name.

Collectively, the world's billionaires are worth an estimated $13.1 trillion, up from $8 trillion in 2020, according to Forbes.
