Papa John's reported record second quarter sales of $460.6 million, a jump from $399.6 million in the same period of 2019, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Still, analysts predicted $467 million in revenue. The company's stock dipped by more than 2% in premarket trading Thursday on the news.
Net income rose to $15.7 million from $4.9 million a year earlier.
