Missouri Gov. Mike Parson yesterday announced the extension of the state's first coronavirus recovery phase.
The phase, which now will last through June 15, encourages social distancing and allows businesses to operate with occupancy restrictions.
"I want to assure you that our efforts are showing positive results. We are in a good place with our recovery pillars – testing, (personal protective equipment), hospital capacity and data," Parson said. "We're extending Phase I not because we have taken steps back, but we want to be sure we are fully prepared for Phase II."
