“You spend a lot of time in your office environment, so everybody wants to know, ‘What can I do at my desk? What can I do during the day?’” says Pamela Hernandez, certified personal trainer, health coach, and owner of Thrive Personal Fitness. Hernandez says many are curious about sitting on a stability ball to improve core strength and abdominal muscles. You can do your normal tasks while siting on a ball, but don’t stay in one position too long. “Our bodies were meant to move, so don’t do any one thing for the whole day,” Hernandez says.
