The owner of more than 100 Marriott hotel properties is claiming the company is behind on payments.
The Service Properties Trust yesterday issued a letter to Marriott International seeking an $11 million advance to cover the payment shortfall.
Service Properties officials say Marriott is bound to pay a minimum return of $194.6 million annually through 2035 under the contract.
