“We would really like to be able to source all of our ingredients locally, but we’re gonna have to build up to that and have a better understanding of the seasonal availability of everything that we want to put in our product” says Chris Ollis who owns Spring Branch Kombucha with his wife, Jessica. Chris says it’s critical to know where each ingredient comes from in case one of their suppliers has a recall, so Spring Branch Kombucha could pull their product off shelves if they needed to do so.
