Ringling Bros. circus to return without animals

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey is reviving its circus, but this time around without animals.

Instead, the circus will aim to showcase "amazing talent from around the world, displaying incredible feats that push the limits of human potential and create jaw-dropping moments."

The Ringling Bros. circus shut down five years ago over financial issues. Its closure followed the circus' move to phase out elephants, a move celebrated by by animal rights activists.
