Scottrade founder donates $40M to Boston cancer institute

Scottrade Financial Services founder Rodger Riney donated $40 million to a Boston cancer institute.

The funding for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is the largest single award supporting multiple myeloma research that the institute has ever received.

Riney and his wife, Paula, both of St. Louis, have donated nearly $60 million to the institute to date.
