Springfield First Community Bank added two members to its board of directors.

Nonprofit executive Emily Givens and attorney and councilperson Abe McGull are the new directors, according to a news release.

"These community leaders will be tremendous assets to our board of directors, and to the bank," said Jim Anderson, board chairperson, in the release.

Givens is executive director of Lost & Found Grief Center, and McGull is the owner of The McGull Law Firm LLC and a member of Springfield City Council.

Givens and McGull fill the seats on the nine-member board left vacant by Rob Fulp and Larry Lipscomb, who both retired, said SFC Bank spokesperson Andrea Gill.

As of Dec. 31, SFC Bank's assets were $780 million and deposits were $569 million, according to past reporting.
