STL-area business owner indicted for tax fraud

A St. Louis-area man was indicted for allegedly evading taxes when operating an automotive warranty company.

Gary Primm Jr., 39, of Wentzville, owned auto warranty call center United Auto Defense in St. Charles.

During the 2014-15 tax years, he allegedly received more than $1 million in income that he did not pay taxes on, according to the indictment.

He could receive a sentence of up to five years in prison and a $100,000 fine order.
