President Donald Trump yesterday pledged to send $200 discount cards to 33 million Medicare recipients.
He did not identify how the program would be paid for. However, White House officials said the roughly $7 billion initiative could be funded through an experimental program proposal to lower Medicare drug prices.
Trump said the cards would be mailed out in the "coming weeks."
