Carrie Richardson, executive director at Leadership Springfield, says The Harvard Business Review recently published an article listing community connection as the fourth largest motivator for employees. She says this gives Leadership Springfield the opportunity to be a tool for business leaders at all levels. “We believe and see every day that people who find a place to get involved and make an impact are more passionate, more excited, more engaged and ultimately they’re the change agents in the community for issues. They can get things done,” Richardson says.
