A solar service agreement is a financial agreement where a developer arranges financing between the solar user and private investors to deliver a turnkey solar power plant. Financing allows the solar user to benefit at little to no upfront cost. The agreement enables power generated for the customer to obtain rates below retail rate. This is a great option for nonprofits that cannot utilize the tax benefits private corporations have available.
