When Creatives Need to Disconnect

“I think the toughest part about the work-life balance is that I’m always thinking about the next project,” says Michael Frizell, graphic novel author and Director of Student Learning Services at Missouri State University. Frizell says sometimes creative people need to stop working and relax. Frizell got into a habit of writing several hours each day when he was an undergraduate and has difficulty stepping back and living in the moment.
