School of the Osage High School Fieldhouse
Osage Beach
The new field house for the School of the Osage provides roughly 9,000 square feet for the school district to use as locker rooms, community rooms and additional classroom space. The $3 million project includes an outdoor plaza with an observation deck that overlooks the football field. Sapp Design Associates Architects PC is the project architect, with engineering work by Toth and Associates Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to wrap up in September.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
