Description: Construction of a corporate office facility is underway near Joplin in Newton County for Vowels Stovern Wealth LLC, an independent wealth firm, according to project officials. The building will be located on an approximately 13-acre site, alongside Shoal Creek. The two-story building will consist of a steel frame and wood construction, and it will be oriented to take advantage of the natural beauty and wooded area, with views of the natural spring.
Plaza Shopping Center gained an arcade with the March 1 opening of The Flying Lap LLC; the repurposing of space operated by Burrell Behavioral Health resulted in the March 18 opening of the company’s second autism center; and a group of downtown business owners teamed up to reopen J.O.B. Public House.
