Citizens Memorial Hospital/Health Care Foundation (CMH) serves eight counties in southwest Missouri and is a fully integrated health system. CMH contributes to community health by providing services that meet the needs of people of all ages.
 
Benefits
CMH adopted a holistic approach to our compensation structure. This includes an expansive benefits package offering a zero premium option for health and dental coverage, promoting work/life balance, fostering a positive work environment and supporting physical/mental wellness. Full-time, part-time and contract-D employees are eligible for benefits on the first of the month following their hire date.
 
Our employee health plan includes vision and prescription drug coverage, wellness and employee service programs to aid in smoking cessation, stress reduction, weight loss, and overall healthy lifestyle habits, as well as resources for retirement planning and personal finance education. Additionally, CMH offers a zero premium option for preventive dental coverage.
 
Employees receive an employer-paid term life insurance policy and paid time off in the first month following the date of hire. CMH automatically contributes funds to employees’ retirement accounts in addition to a more traditional matched savings plan for retirement. Because we know investments can be difficult to keep current, employees have access to local investment advisers at no cost. Other employee benefits include cafeteria discounts, employee health screens, bereavement leave and jury duty leave.
 
We are committed to supporting the health and well-being of our employees and we know that goes beyond physical health. The financial wellness of our employees matters, and we have taken steps to support employees in achieving better financial health. With the on-demand pay program partnership with PayActiv, our employees can get early access to their money as they earn it with next-day bank transfers and immediate transfers. In addition to earlier access to earned wages, PayActiv also offers an array of financial wellness services to empower our employees to take control of their financial health.
 
CMH also offers an employee education loan forgiveness program. Employees eligible for participation include Hospital RNs/LPNs, laboratory technicians, pharmacists, radiology techs, therapists and respiratory therapists and Foundation RNs/LPNs and therapists. CMH/CMH Foundation will pay up to $5,000 a year for a maximum of $20,000 over four years to approved/qualified lenders.
 
Community Engagement
At the core of CMH culture is community involvement and engagement. We are committed to creating and sustaining programs that support wellness, disease prevention and charity.
 
CMH offers health programs to rural public and private schools, collaborates with local county health departments, and offers senior-focused wellness programs at the CMH Senior Health Center in Bolivar to those aged 55 and older.
