Activision Blizzard reached a $54 million settlement in a discrimination case brought by the California Civil Rights Department.
The suit resolves allegations that the Call of Duty maker "discriminated against women at the company, including denying promotion opportunities and paying them less than men for doing substantially similar work."
Activision Blizzard additionally agreed to take steps to ensure “fair pay and promotion practices."
