California governor orders some businesses to close

California Gov. Gavin Newsom yesterday announced some businesses would have to close again as coronavirus cases rise in the state.

The list includes indoor operations of restaurants, wineries, movie theaters and bars.

California's average daily new cases hit 8,211 over the past week through Monday. Twenty-three people had died within the past 24 hours due to complications with the virus.
