The Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce decided to push back its annual Business Expo due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It's slated to be held May 25-26. It had been scheduled for Jan. 19-20.
"We are just looking out for our members and the safety and health of our exhibitors, our members and the public," said Stephanie McGrew, the chamber's special events manager. "We just don't want to take any chances."
