A judge last month dismissed a $50 million lawsuit against St. Louis-based SSM Health.
St. Louis Heart and Vascular PC filed suit early last year, alleging SSM wrongly terminated its staff memberships and clinical privileges at the health care system's DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton. Those services were moved in-house.
The suit alleged SSM's decision financially harmed a nearby St. Louis Heart facility. SSM argued that it followed its bylaws, and the judge agreed.
