Missouri to provide credit monitoring services to teachers impacted by security flaw

Missouri is providing a year of credit monitoring services to teachers impacted by a security flaw in a state website.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch originally estimated some 100,000 Social Security numbers were vulnuerable on the state website.

The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education now estimates the personal information of 620,000 current and former teachers was at risk of public disclosure.
