Posted online

Craig Automotive Services
Vehicle repair business Craig Automotive Services LLC, which started in 2020, relocated July 10 to 112 Dempsey Drive in Rogersville. Business Office Manager Christina Craig, wife of owner Larry Craig, said a staff of eight work in the shop, which previously was at 125 N. Harper St. She declined to disclose relocation and renovation costs, which included purchase of the 5,200-square-foot standalone building from Manesh Prabhakaran, owner of prior occupant MDP Motors Inc. Craig said her husband, a certified master automotive technician with the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, has nearly 30 years of experience in the vehicle repair and service industry. The need for additional space prompted Craig Automotive Services’ move, she said. The shop’s services include oil changes, alignments, battery replacements, computer diagnostics, engine and transmission repairs, tire sales, and heating and cooling system diagnostics and repairs.

Kinetic Design & Development
Just under a year after launching, architecture firm Kinetic Design and Development LLC moved Aug. 28 to larger office space in Chesterfield Village. Kinetic is a partner with Sanders, Myers & Blackwell CPAs LLP in Tenedor Pesado LLC, a real estate company that acquired a three-story building at 2215 W. Chesterfield Blvd. The company, whose name means heavy fork in Spanish, purchased the property known for its signature giant fork sculpture from Springfield digital commerce firm Classy Llama Studios LLC for an undisclosed price. Abbye Bobbett, who co-owns Kinetic with husband Griffin Bobbett and Adam Kreher, also declined to disclose relocation and renovation costs, noting the firm occupies 8,977 square feet on the building’s first floor. She said Classy Llama is operating in a temporary office off-site but plans to move to the second floor by early next year, adding SMB is on the third floor. Kinetic, which Bobbett said employs 30, originally opened in an 1,800-square-foot office in September 2022 at 2101 W. Chesterfield Blvd., Ste. A101.

Domino’s
The newest Domino’s pizza shop opened Sept. 16 at 530 N. Eastgate Ave. Franchisees Art Hurteau and Marty Prather of A&M Pizza Inc. now operate 37 Domino’s restaurants in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas. Hurteau said A&M Pizza invested roughly $2 million to construct the 2,050-square-foot eatery that sits on property across from a Menards store near the U.S. Highway 65 and Chestnut Expressway intersection. He said Ross Construction Group LLC was general contractor for the project designed by Burns Architecture. General Manager Charlie Woodworth leads a staff of 30 at the store, which Hurteau said will better serve the Springfield area east of Highway 65. The eatery is the seventh Domino’s in Springfield, according to its website. Menu items include made-to-order and specialty pizzas, hot wings, pastas, cheesy bread, loaded tater tots, salads and oven-baked sandwiches, with prices generally ranging $7-$22.
