The Transportation Security Administration projects St. Louis Lambert International Airport will see an increase in passengers for Thanksgiving.
The day before the holiday, the St. Louis airport is expected to see some 9,000 departing passengers. The previous high this year was nearly 9,500 passengers during the Labor Day holiday.
However, last year's Thanksgiving holiday had peak days of more than 20,000 passengers.
