Tulsa initiative pays for new residents

An initiative called Tulsa Remote is paying people $10,000 to move to the Oklahoma city.

Applicants must be full-time remote workers or be self-employed outside of Oklahoma. Recipients agree to live in Tulsa for at least a year.

The program funded by the George Kaiser Family Foundation has received more than 20,000 applications. Tulsa Remote has accepted 400 people into the program since launching in 2018.
